| The central part of this charming box is covered with a continuous latice design with Chinese characters in between. This latice design is known as kati rimo in Tibetan and is adapted from typical Chinese Ming brocade designs. There is a flower pattern in the border which continues with the same cinnabar red background colour. | ||||
