This cabinet would have been used as a yangam to store offering vases dedicated to Vaishravana and Mahakala, which bought blessings to the household or monastery where it was kept. Each door is decorated with a vase containing lotus flowers. Each bloom holds up a tray containing various auspicious symbols, and either side of the vases are a cluster of flaming jewels. The whole symbolism is of abundance, prosperity and good fortune. The frame is lightly decorated with a gold line drawing.
