This effigy would have been found on the roof of a house or on a bridge, clearly as a symbol of protection. The hands are joined in prayer and the legs in a squatting position. The male organ is clearly visible although not erect, as in the case of more erotic figures that can also be found in these areas. On the face, roughly carved lines give the figure a moustache, beard and a lined brow. All over the figure, thin cracks in the wood show the effects of weathering.
