| This copper cooking pot is impressive for its dimensions and patina. Pots like these would have been used during the community banquets, known as bhuj, of the Newars, for cooking the rice. This particular one, has an inscription in the Newar script, most probably a dedication of the maker with the date of the event. | |||||
