The bottom part of this saddle set (Rug 10) would have been put on the horse under the saddle, with the top part (Rug 11) on top of the saddle. They are beautifully executed with a composition of crosses in the centre of a green/blue background. The red border is decorated with half flowers, and there are inner borders of light blue and a pearl border.

Excellent condition.

Wool weft and warp.
Natural dyes.
