| This square table would have been for general use and is painted on all four sides. In the front the two doors are decorated with lotus flowers holding jewels, surrounded by foliage and fruit.The sides and back have another composition with a lotus blossom supporting a large flaming jewel, again surrounded by leaves, fruit and flowers. Interestingly, the front and one side have a red background with a yellow border frame and the other side and back have a yellow background with a red border frame. The frames are decorated with flowers and leaves and around the whole table are lower panels, decorated simply with green clouds on an orange background. | ||||
