This was a very popular design of tables in Tibet and, as in this case, they often came in pairs or even sets. The panels are decorated with floral compositions and the flowers are beautifully shaded by a skilled craftsman. Flowers, leaves and fruit are found on a red/brown background on the border, and the lower section is carved, as is the section aroung the top. The lower panels are orange with simple monochrome floral patterns.
