This attractive table is painted on three sides. The structure is simple with an open back and no drawer. On the front is a large lotus blossom holding up a flaming jewel, surrounded by bilva fruit, foliage and flowering buds. The background is red and the border is a continuous gyanag-chakri, or what the Tibetans call the “Chinese border”. On the sides is a bowl containing flaming jewels.
